Visual learning. Lasting understanding.
Make the idea
click.
Less memorisation. More “now I see it.”
Orbit brings the curriculum to life through visual explanations, real-world experiments and the freedom to ask what if?
Available through institutional adoption · No individual subscriptions
When students can see the reason, the rule makes sense.
Don't just watch. Work it out.
The picture is
part of the explanation.
Change one thing. Notice what happens. Discover why. Try these short interactive explanations, inspired by the learning experiences inside Orbit.
01 / 03 · Notice
One orange. One half.
Cut the same orange into more equal pieces. How much fruit do you have?
The whole stays the same.
Use the slider or play the three-step story. Motion is optional; every explanation is also available as text.
Inside the product
Ideas become
something you can explore.
Actual Orbit screens. Real activities. Visuals are selected to explain the concept, with controls that let students test a change and compare the result.
Mathematics / Equivalent fractions
Same apples. A different way to group them.
Compare the amount, not just the symbols. Students can see both equivalence and what goes wrong when only one part of a fraction changes.
Geography / River flooding
A change on land. An effect in the river.
Pin a comparison, change the landscape and trace the connection between infiltration and surface runoff.
Curriculum / A clear way in
Less searching. More learning.
A familiar route from curriculum level to subject, topic and session keeps the learning experience easy to navigate.
A reason behind every interaction
Not just the answer.
The “why” behind it.
A shortcut becomes useful when students understand when it works and why. Orbit links concrete examples to the underlying idea, then creates space to test that understanding.
Institutional discussions include the relevant age range, curriculum scope and available sessions. Coverage is agreed around your setting.

A few useful details
Built around learning.
Adopted together.
Can I subscribe as an individual?
No. Orbit is available through institutional adoption. Your school, college or university agrees access with EdTechLab.
Is Orbit a library of videos?
Orbit uses interactive sessions to make ideas explorable. Learners can change examples, compare outcomes and practise, with visuals and explanation working together. The SVG stories on this page are short demonstrations of that approach.
Where does it fit in the curriculum?
Sessions are organised by curriculum level, subject and topic. We review the available content and the curriculum requirements relevant to your institution as part of adoption.
How is Orbit different from Sky?
Orbit focuses on the learning experience: visual explanation, exploration and practice. Sky focuses on the connected institutional view of the student journey. Both are adopted by institutions.
